Doctor

Anna is a UK trained general practitioner. She moved to Australia with her family in 2012 where she trained in skin cancer medicine. She holds post graduate qualifications in skin cancer medicine and surgery from the University of Queensland. Anna is an Australian Skin Cancer College member and Accredited skin cancer doctor. She has been performing skin checks and skin cancer surgery since 2012 and is able to treat most skin cancers within the clinic including those requiring small skin flaps and grafts.

Anna is the principle doctor at the clinic and co-owner with her husband Glenn.

Paul is a UK trained general practitioner. Paul moved to Australia in 2017 and starting training in skin cancer medicine. Paul has been completing skin cancer checks and surgeries since then. Paul is able to treat most skin cancers including those requiring grafts and flaps. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, camping and CrossFit.

Alvin completed his medical degree in 2010 at the University of New South Wales. He then moved to Newcastle and obtained his FRACGP in 2017. Alvin has an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine (HealthCert). Alvin is currently working towards his accreditation in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. Alvin has a keen interest in skin cancer, amongst his regular GP work.

Outside of work, Alvin (originally from Singapore), is busy at home with his young family. He also enjoys tennis and scuba diving.

Dr Owen is joining the Maitland Skin Cancer team bringing over 20 years of experience in the Skin Cancer field. He has undergone extensive training in skin cancer management through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia whilst he gained his Fellowship of General Practice. Previously working with Dr Anna Brummitt he is a great fit to our family orientated team at Medowie as Dr Owen is living in 'The bay' with his family.

Dr Wendy Bravo is a peruvian trained doctor working in Australia since 2002 in rural Queensland (Millmerran and Toowoomba).

In 2007, she relocated to the Newcastle/ Hunter Valley area so she can be close to her family while completing her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Due to her passion for Skin Cancer Detection and Treatmet she started training in SKIN CANCER since 2012, therefore becoming an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor (SCCA) and she regularly attends the Skin Cancer Congress of Australasia.

She has also attained a Cerfificate in Dermatology (Healthcert) and a Diplomas in Cosmetic Medicine ( AAAM and ACCSM). She enjoys gardening, caravaning, dancing , spending time with her kids, family and friends.
