Skin Checks
Unfortunately most Australians do not get regular skin checks. At Maitland Skin Cancer Clinic we have a team of highly talented doctors committed to the early detection and treatment of skin cancers.
Having your skin checked is a quick and painless process. Checks typically take around 15 minutes during which the doctor may examine any lesions you have with a dermascope, the doctor may also image lesions during this process or request a biopsy, once your check is complete we will contact you with your results.
If required your doctor may request a follow up booking to excise a lesion, all excisions are carried out at our clinic by a qualified doctor.
Regardless if you are having a skin check for the first time or have had many, we urge all Australians to undertake a regular skin check program.
